Dear researchers and beekeeping industry stakeholders,
Beekeeping contributes significantly to the sustainability of plant production, the preservation of biodiversity, and human nutrition. Bee products such as honey, propolis, royal jelly, pollen, beeswax, and apilarnil are increasingly important both as functional foods in nutrition and in health.
Malatya, with its rich flora, climate diversity, and traditional production culture, is one of the most valuable regions in our country for beekeeping. Our honey, produced from nectar collected from countless flowers in our plateaus, plains, and foothills, is not only a food product but also the reward of our labor.
Our center aims to be a leader in the field of beekeeping through its scientifically based, hands-on training approach. We contribute to the sector through research on honeybee breeding, improving the production and quality of bee products, and the development of sustainable production techniques. We are working intensively to develop beekeeping in our province, encourage young producers, disseminate modern techniques, and raise quality standards. We are always there for you, our valued beekeepers, with training programs and technical support for our producers.
Furthermore, we must take more conscious and planned steps against factors that threaten our beekeeping, such as climate change, pesticides, and other pests. Our greatest goal is to continuously collaborate with you, our producers, identify problems on-site, and develop solutions.
We are fully confident that we will work together, based on our scientific studies, to make Malatya's natural and organic bee products more visible in both national and international markets. I wish all our hard-working beekeepers, who work hard in the mountains, fruitful, healthy, and successful production seasons.
Where there are bees, there is product; where there is product, there is life.
With respect and greetings,
